In Memoriam, 2/01 |
I took this picture in February 2001 after a wonderful birthday spent with my daughter who lives in New York City. It was a cold, crisp winter day and the sun was setting creating beautiful patterns on the World Trade Center. A New York City sunset will never be the same, the world has now changed, my photograph is now obscured. My quilt, "In Memoriam" is a tribute to those families who have lost loved ones in these senseless attacks. |
