RThe piece highlights the juxtaposition of tragedy, both here and in Afghanistan, with a business as usual attitude which glorifies the millions brought in by the latest blockbuster films, etc. I see the piece as a kind of memorial to the hugh but visible disconnect that continues to exist within the human family. Perhaps Spider Man is actually saying," What the devil's going on here?" |
