I have been documenting the personal habits, rituals and beliefs that people use to make themselves feel safe in an unpredictable world. My work is about the ways that people find solace, the ways they make themselves adapt to a world that is sometimes harsh and cruel. I am interested in the magic and mysticism in everyday life, and my images evoking the darker side of humanity. My subjects are survivors. |
