Consists of two images taken from news photography: the Buddhas at Bamiyan one sceond before they were destroyed by the Taliban; the figure of an American Airlines jets before it hit the WTC Tower. Rendered in red, white and blue on a vinyl banner. A second limited edition of 4 prints (24" x 36") donated to fundraising projects for 911 relief.Exhibited at Savage Gallery, Portland OR, September 2001 Medal awarded for digital imaging/new media at Biennale dell'Arte Contemporanea in Florence Italy, December 2001.
