As a resident of Battery Park City who had to be evacuated and
couldn't go home for six weeks, I did the attached pastel
"Representative Body Bag" while living with friends.
My work focuses on the power, emotion,
ssence and individuality of a study.
Each portrayal is exaggerated, mindful
of the expression of emotion in the artwork,
as well as the impact on the viewer.
The materials used for each piece is determined
by the sensitivity, sensuality and power I wish to express.
Pastel, charcoal, oil, acrylic, ink, memorabilia and
found objects are used alone or in different combination. |
