Since September 11, we have been informed that the number of people who perished on that fateful day is in the thousands.  If I am correct, the present count of lost souls is 3,368.  It's a number, a large number, and I needed a better understanding of 3,368; therefore, Lady Liberty is surrounded by 3,368 dots.  This is my way of memorializing the precious lives lost on September 11, 2001.  May the Universe Grant Us Peace on Earth!
