Starting With a Line
(the color within)
This series of paintings is about the
emotive qualities of color and the infinite space that color and "a
line" can create.
They evolved from 3 years of making the beach
paintings
and my fascination with the horizon line as it divides the infinite
spaces of the sea and the sky opening all possibilities in between.
In the grid below is the last version of each painting in the series.

All paintings are 9" x 12", oil on board, except for the final
version which is oil and wax medium on board.
